Property Maintenance – Single Lets & HMOs
It is important to us and to our tenants, that we look after our single let and HMO properties. Consequently, we do our very best to monitor potential issues. This is often more necessary within our HMOs, due to the number of tenants living there. We do this through monthly checks on the communal areas and quarterly checks of individually rented rooms. We also keep notes on anything we might see when visiting a shared house for viewings, check-ins and check-outs. Above all, we have a dedicated maintenance team who work tirelessly to prioritise reports requiring maintenance. They always aim to respond as quickly as possible.
In addition to this, we email newsletters to our Best Nest tenants every month. We provide them with local information, but also advice and guidance on how to look after the property and appliances. By doing this, we all help one another to minimise the instances that require call outs. It may also prevent the need for maintenance in some cases.

We have an online form so that Best Nest tenants can report any part of the property potentially requiring maintenance. By clicking on the link below, you are taken direct to our form, which is quick and easy to complete. This is sent immediately to our team, rather than having to go through a third party. Therefore, making the process more efficient. All issues reported will then be triaged. They are given a level of priority depending on the type of problem and other issues we may be dealing with at that time.
