What can you do in Stoke-on-Trent?

There is always plenty to do in Stoke-on-Trent.

If you love shopping, then Hanley’s Intu Potteries, with its 90+ shops, is the place to be. It also has a multi-storey car park, restaurant complex and Cineworld attached. Perfect for a day of retail therapy! There is also a separate retail park – Festival Park – where you can find stores, free parking, restaurants, Odeon cinema, Stoke Ski Centre, Waterworld and ten pin bowling.

The city’s Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall are always putting on a range of great shows, with Madagascar the Musical due at the Regent in September.

Not far away, there are new activity additions in the forms of the Ninja Warrior UK Adventure and Team Sport Go-Karting. Furthermore, the city puts on a variety of events throughout the year, including The Big Feast Festival and Lumen’s Night of Lights.

Famed for its pottery industry, Stoke-on-Trent has attractions galore, including the Gladstone Pottery Museum, Emma Bridgewater Factory, Middleport Pottery, World of Wedgewood and Portmerion Factory Shop.

A short drive into Trentham brings you to the beautiful Trentham Gardens and Shopping Village, as well as the adjacent Monkey Forest, whilst in Newcaslte-under-Lyme, you can find Vue cinema, with reclining seats in every screen, Escape Rooms, Laser Quest and the New Vic Theatre.

Finally, you can take a stroll around Westport Lake, visit the award-winning, 17th century Ford Green Hall or enjoy the National Trust’s Biddulph Grange Gardens.

You really can’t be stuck for anything to do!
